Visitor spending at parks & attractions to cross AED 734 million by 2011

Spending on leisure and tourism projects in the Middle East is poised to surpass AED 11 trillion over the next two decades opening up business avenues for amusement parks, attractions, theme parks and the entertainment and leisure segment, with anticipated revenues in excess of AED 36 billion at a growth rate of between 20 to 25%.

Against the backdrop of these strong projections, UK’s leading event organizer UBMi have announced the launch of the Middle East Attractions, Amusements, Parks, Leisure and Entertainment International Trade Exhibition (MEAPPLE) that is scheduled to take place on November 17th and 18th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
